Autograph letter and envelope with stamp by Ricciotti Garibaldi to Harry Nelson Gay

SUMMARY

This letter accompanies the gift of the second edition of The Cenci. Shelley presented this volume to Capt. Roberts in Lerici on 1 July 1822. The first edition was published privately in Livorno in 1819. It later belonged to Generale Garibaldi, who was a friend of Roberts.
