SUMMARY: Describing a carnival mask made for Lord Byron providing details of Lord Byron’s residence in Ravenna, 1819-21 as well as of the carnival mask he wore in 1820. Two identical notes identified as item numbered 4.23 deal with Byron in Ravenna but do not mention the mask. A folder at the end of the box provides the documentation on the mask.
