Screening of Sardanapalus

On Saturday 26 October at 2.30 pm, the Keats-Shelley House is pleased to invite you to a screening of Sardanapalus, directed by Raz Golden.

The Keats-Shelley House is delighted to announce a theatrical event: Lord Byron’s Sardanapalus at the Red Bull Theater in New York, produced in partnership with the Byron Society of America, the Keats-Shelley Association of America and the Keats-Shelley House, brilliantly directed by Raz Golden and starring a terrific cast, including Amir Arison, Amir Malaklou, and Sanjit De Silva.

 
The tragic fall of the last Assyrian king and his decadent reign: a story of love, betrayal, and self-discovery as told by the most notorious of the Romantic poets. This production will bring Byron’s dramatic works to a contemporary audience, giving new life to his verse.

The event will premiere live in New York at the Sheen Center Loreto Theatre on Thursday 24 October, while the recording will be broadcast here at the Keats-Shelley House on Saturday 26 October at 2.30 p.m.
